Air conditioning removal Question
the heviest part among them(compressor, blower, condensor, evaporator) is the compressor....
I'll say about 80lbs +/- 5 lbs is very realistic

folks...as ive stated before...its not significant
I did the job last year...no offense merciless but if you weighed your parts...if i recall correctly, the entire system is NOT 80 lbs...
this includes all the parts you listed including lines...i too still retained the
parts and could weigh it for those who require numbers....

P.S. I don't see why you would want an a/c up there.... down here on the other hand its a neccessity

yea kieth and amp got it all right...ac removal is easy just please have a ac shop recover the freon( im not trying to be 50 and have no ozone
)
that stuf dose not weith 80 lbs im strong but i know what 80lbs is...hell i may even go out in the garrage and weith the comporess or just yto see

probobly not though..
i just didnt take it all together and weigh it. i took mine out a 2 different times/ stages. maybe that why i dont remember???
