Air bag

Im putting my loom back in the car after a total respray and i was thinking of removing the SRS airbag loom, has anyone done that??

it isnīt to much of a problem, im just wondering about the diognostics module can i take it out without any problems???

I have done it three times. If you want it completely gone you will have to have access to the ring harness that runs behind the das, up around the front of the car and back. It is easy. Remove the sensors also, the module, and all of the wires. USe the shop manual electrical drawing to help you. Also take out the air bag bulb.

I did this with my car. You basically just take the harness out of the plastic wire wrap and remove the blue airbag harness and everything having to do with the airbag system. If the dash is already out of the car it's not a big deal to go ahead and do this.

so can i just pull all the wires that are connect to this?


is it okay if i cut the wires if i need to? will it mess anything up besides not being able to reuse the wireS?
