28, Research and Development analyst, bought my current FD in March for a bit of nothing. It just got the paint job it needed. Other than that it was a great condition bone stock 93 VR R1 with 48,000 on it.

That must have hurt -- the XK-150 is a beautiful car... at least you were able to get a house with the funds!

Yea, it hurt bad. I loved that car. She was fast. The electric overdrive gave it nice top end but hauling that thing down from speed was downright terrifying. It was the first production sports car with the then new dunlop disc brakes (all 4 wheels)derived from Jag's Le Mans racing. The press raved about them at the time. Don't believe it. Truely scary to stop. Handling was pretty impressive considering it was a large, full frame, early '50s design that ran on tall skinny tires (18X5 I seem to recall). Of course a stock civic could out cross it today. Had a shifter that felt like a bolt on a .50 cal anti-tank gun. Mechanical feel and positive gate engagement like you can't believe. Yep, I really loved that automobile. Some rich Japanese is driving her now. I hope he's treating her well.

20, soccer coach/full time college student. Studying to major in accounting with a minor in operations and management of information systems. Bought 94 FD with rebuilt engine and all bolt ons minus ECU/midpipe. Probably has around 30-40k on the rebuilt engine, no problems so far, knock on wood.

34 years old as of Wednesday. I build engines, tune cars, and do just about every other manner of thing to rx7's and RE's for a living. Owned my first rotary in 1991. Mother had one in 1988. Had them ever since.

Just bought my 93 VR R1 for 7,000. Love getting deals on cars in Japan. Bought my current 91 Skyline GTR for only 8,000 a year ago. Havent driven my 7 yet though because I bought it while on this deployment. My friend used to own it so I at least know what it looks like, haha
