Bought my first, a 75k mile 7, in October of this year...spent over 2 years on this website researching and still it is an experience.

Lusted for this car since the first time I saw it in Car and Driver when I was 14...nearly owned one when I was 19 but decided I would progress, instead of jumping, into it.

 

Boy was I surprised to get a subscription notice for this thread.....nice to see there are still new people being drawn into the fold. Plenty for them to learn from in the archives here (good and bad). Funny to see how many are on their 2nd or 3rd rotary......once you get the bug, you never lose it.

-Bought my first one in 2001 for $8900 with a brand new motor and turbo's, as well as paint job. 80K on the odometer. Great car that was in excellent condition.
-Had a MB that I basically I got through a trade, sold it a couple of weeks later.
-89 T2: to help with withdrawals after I sold my other one.
Currently: 93 BB r1 with about 57,xxx miles on the odometer currently. Needs a little TLC, but I'm working on it. :-D

 

20: Assistant project manager / estimator and part time restaurant employee. I bought my FD 3 years ago for 5k with approx. 99k miles on chasis. Now, it has 101k miles, and a s*** load of mods.

Bought the FD 1 month ago for 17,500 w/ 75,000 miles. Having some minor problems, But I was expecting them. It's been a great car so far though.

The FD has been off the road for about one of the two years due to financial problems. my low budget performance build is on its way though.. haltech E6K, hybrid S5 single turbo w/manifold, intercooler upgrade, etc.
