Aftermarket intake elbow....

I've been trying to find a intake elbow with more of a 90 degree bend, less angled then the Greddy elbow or the stock one. I know there are a few companies that make them, but I can't find em. Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,
Dan

The only other elbow (besides the stock or GReddy ones) that I know of that is designed to match up to the throttle body is the HKS one (which is stock-like). You might have to go custom.

I coulnd't find anything on that site. I was thinking I'd have to go custom, but was hoping I wouldn't.

Bump...after almost 3 years of death haha.

I'm now looking for a 90 degree intake elbow. Anyone know of any since 06? I'm looking for the HKS one but I guess they don't make it anymore.

EDIT: Actually now that I've seen one from HKS, that's not what I'm looking for. And after looking at the pic, it's not really 90 degrees, but more than that. They have it in this pic with the HKS VMIC...

FEED makes an intake elbow? I didn't see it on there, I'll have to check that out. Thanks!

EDIT: I remember seeing the pic but from what I could tell it didn't look like it would be an elbow. ANYhoo, after looking at it, it's still shaped with too much of an angle. I actually need it to angle the other way, and as of right now it looks like I'll be just fabricating one. Thanks guys!

Someone is selling what looks like a greedy knock-off on ebay recently.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-94...QQcmdZViewItem

Might be a good place to start if you want to try modifying an existing elbow.

^That's a good idea.

Also, FEED makes one, but it seems to be identical to the GReddy piece.

Thanks for the link! I have a GReddy elbow I was just going to hack up into what I need, but this would be better since it's a knockoff and cheap.

Yeah I saw that one on the RHDJapan site, it looks like the same thing.

I think the HKS elbow only comes with their v-mount set up? I'm pretty sure panspeed makes one too....I remember seeing one on yahoo jp recently.

So I'm kinda curious... why do you want to make a stronger 90 degree bend in your intake elbow?? I was always under the impression that more bends = more 90 degree angles, more 90 degree angles = lower end PSI, lower end PSI = less power...

No, I'm trying to make it straighter. Did you look at the pic I posted? I want to relocate the fusebox on the driver's side of the engine bay and run the intake piping under the strut bar along that side so I can use a hood specially made for my VMIC. Know what I'm saying?

Just cutt up my greddy elbow and rewelded it together, It lookes great. If you look at a lot of the jdm tuner cars many of them do the same. I welded the inside up and i think it will have very close to the same flow. I also have a v mount and now it looks much better, though moving the fuse box kinda sucks.

^Do you have a write-up on this? I gotta see pics man, haha. Where did you put the fusebox? That's my biggest concern, I hate splicing wires and I want it somewhere I can still reach it without too much work and where it won't get wet or nasty or anything.

I gotcha, I was confused by your OP, I thought you were asking for an elbow with a sharper angle, and was like
