I've seen pictures of some of the KnightSports cars doing wind tunnel testing but honestly have no idea what the results were. I know they were mostly testing for air flow through the engine bay to test for cooling changes.
If you do get an aftermarket hood make sure that you either use hood pins or that if the hood does use the factory latch that the hood is well made.
One of my friends hood flipped open on him on the freeway. The latch broke and the think flipped up bent in half and dented his hood...oh not to mention that he had to do a crazy 4 lane change at 80 mph in traffic.
