what does an apexi AFC computer do for you and how does it work and how do you tune it for the better?

some one told me it was one of the best up grades for the money on a 3gen.

what would it do for me I have a 93 r1 with a street ported 13b down pipe and exehast? oh ya its auto

basically what it allows you to do is adjust the sensor inputs the computer is reading. You can only adjust it a fraction of the actual reading.

 

The S-AFC is basically worthless for the FD. It's very useful for the FC. Don't waste your money.

 

I think he meant PFC but got confused a little. If you did mean that then yes its a great upgrade if you have a lot mods and want to tune the car.

 

hey that s-afc saved my idle from being crappy, so it's not completly useless, though i would have never used it in the high RPMs for any type of tuning. Now I have the PFC and that is great! like the previous post said ....if that is what you meant then it is definetly a good investment.
