Did you check the sensor, and the wire on the sensor?

everyone says check the sensor. i kept checking and i kept checking and i couldn't find anything wrong. one day i finally overheated and noticed coolant was coming out of my ast.

i took the lid of it off after it cooled to realize it was dinged up and couldn't hold tight, went and got a new lid the next day and its been fine since.

If your car is not overheating or loosing coolant, 90% of the time it is a single black wire connector behind the A/C and PS down close to the spark plugs. Often times you will knock it loose while changing the spark plugs and not even realize it. It will eventually become completely disconnected and cause the buzzer to stay on all the time. Good luck and hopefully this is your problem.

That's because if the sensor and wiring checks out good, then you actually have a problem.

I think the level sensor is on the t-stat housing. You may be thinking of the temp sensor.

No, the level sensors have 3 connections if I remember correctly. The wire that comes off the t-stat housing is the first one. The second one is where I just described and is the most overlooked one. I have fixed 3 local FD's in the last 6 months that have had this problem... All of which was the same connector.

Well, my car only has one level sensor. The other two are temp sensors. One for the gauge, one for the ECU.

yes, and I'm not arguing that point nor is it relevant to my post. the level sensor wire has more than one connector... the first one plugs into the sensor, after that the wire runs down to the location I mentioned earlier... follow me?
