Question Add Coolant Warning Light!!!

Some help please. My add coolant warning light on my 92 FD3S keeps coming on at random intervals for approx 30 secs and then going off. It will then come back on a few min later. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas??? Temp is running fine.

I had this, and my coolant seals were toast.

Start by checking your coolant level in the filler neck pictured below:

Top it off as needed. If the problem persists, I would have the coolant system tested for Hydrocarbons. Most garages should be able to do the test for a reasonable price.

I suggest you add coolant. I had that problem at one point. Before I knew it, I had a blown motor How many miles are on your motor?

also check the warning sensor wiring. its somewhere under the intake elbowish, near that clump of hoses wires etc if its wiggling loose, it will beep.
