add coolant light?

well my add coolant light keeps on coming on!! but i checked my coolant in resvoir its all full and its not leaking anywhere either!!! when it appeared the first time i quickly turned off my car but i started it right backk cuz i wanted to be off the road and then the add coolant light was gone!! so after that point it comes on and off the whole night!! and oh ya my temps stay right in the middle!!it wasnt overheating or anything!! what you guys think it could be?

Here's where you need to check the coolant level:



If the coolant is not near the top of the filler neck, then that is what's causing your low coolant buzzer.

Also inspect your coolent level sensor and make sure its in good shape. Mine somehow seperated itself from its own plastic threads and my buzzer came on even though my coolent level was golden.

And don't go by what is reading on the factory water temp. gauge. It stays in the middle until it's too late.

so the coolant is fine i checked it!! now what? and where is this sensor located any1 got pic or anything?is it actully little bit below resvoir tank?

Its on the filler neck. that metal thingy thats been circled. Its on the front side towards the bottom. Should have a lead coming out of it. Looks like a hex nut covered in black goop with a wire coming out of it. Best description I can give sorry.

mine was doing the same and it ended up being a plastic conector under the y pipe being disconected
