ABS Solenoid Replacement
I did a search and didn't find anything, so here goes....
I've got a stuck solenoid in my ABS controller which is causing my light to come on, and the unit makes a buzzing sound even with the ignition off (I used to be able to disconnect the battery to reset it, but that no longer works). For the time being, I've removed the fuse for the ABS, but I'm curious how difficult it is to replace the solenoid once I get a new one.
It looks like it should be fairly easy...but then again, it's an FD! Anyone ever done this?
Thanks!

whoa ive got the same problem... but it goes away and comes back every 2 months or so. The ABS still works fine so i wasnt very worried about it.
do you have pics of the ABS solenoid and how much did it cost you. and are you sure it was the solenoid that was stuck? thanx in advance

well, i did a search and found a couple people that had/have the same problem, and it was a solenoid.
I wouldn't worry about it, myself, except it doesn't shut off and would drain my battery down. that's why i yanked the fuse.
I haven't gotten a new solenoid yet, but i don't THINK it should be too exensive. i'll post the price after I call the dealer.
