Hi.I just buy a autometer oil pressure apartor and want to intall a gauge.when I try to install it I found the oil filter is not enought space put it back.I know I can buy a relocation kit but can i just use a shorter oil filter then ????Due to i am using a korea brand oil filter I am not sure the orginal size? Can also tell me what is the oil filter tall size please??? thank you

 

Try using the one off of RX7.com. Those are pretty short. I currently have the a ReSpeed Oil Pedestal installed and the filter still fits with plenty of clearance.

 

I extended mine out about 2". All it is , is a 3/8 NPT. Go to Home Depot and get a 2" (or 3") 3/8" brass close nipple and a coupling. I can get you pics if you need me to.
