about injectors?

Hey can the m2 stage 3 ecu controll the 900cc injecotrs? I am not looking to gain big hp on 7 but I want to replaced the stock injector with a little higher flowing capacity than the oem's. I noticed shanerx7.com sell them for $199 direct replacment for secondary's what u do u guy it's worth installing or is it a waste of money? need your input please, thanks khris

to run larger secondaries, you will need a standalone ECU, and it would have to be tuned. if you run larger injectors on a remapped ECU, it will have no way of knowing that the injectors are bigger, so you will run excessively rich.

Hey thanks Joe D, but can I run very rich these injectors are only 900 cc and the stock are 850cc their ain't much of a big difference between the two injectors? So basically u saying regardless what size I go but if it's bigger than stock I will still need a stand alone ecu?

apparently you'll be safe upgrading your secondaries only unless you have a programmable ECU.
