has anyone ever herd of a "black box" in a car??? the police told me there is one and that it could be recovered if needed, i dunno

any thoughts?

so you did something youre not supposed to and the police are trying to convince you into admitting guilt?

bullshit, its not a damn airplane, there is no black box that records everything.

some companies that sell used cars have some sort of mechanism to shut your car off if you dont pay. also there is lo-jack. but all of these are aftermarket.

OBD II has black box features recording speed, throttle input, boost, rpms, O2, etc. .. accessible by car manufacture and Feds under subpoena. We don't have OBD II
