Exclamation 99+ Undertray Mounting with C-West Front

I just picked up a 99 spec undertray today. My car never had an under tray since I bought my car but I've never had an overheating problem.

I know the front of the tray normally bolts at the lip of the original bumper, but with a C-West front do I simply just make some holes into the bumper and bolt it on?

I'm also running a Blitz FMIC and radiator is at an angle so not vertical.

I would think the primary purpose of the undertray is to keep road rocks and such from damaging the radiator.

the undertray also directs air up to the radiator.

and yes you have to drill holes in the front clip to mount it up.

Cheers guys. I'll be eager to see what the water temperature will be like after I have this installed.

Shine makes a nice undertray for the FD that works well with aftermarket bumpers. Might want to check that out.

id sell the 99 tray and hack up a 93 one to fit under. zip ties are your friend.

Believe me I'd hack away at a 93 one if I had one but I don't. I counted 14 holes on the undertray (6 at the front, 4 in the middle and 4 in the rear). Now which of these would you recommend I zip tie?

I can see undoing all 14 bolts to get the tray off being a real burden in future if I wanted to work on the car.
