They haven't been installed, so I'm not sure I can really consider them an 'addition' yet
I bought a spare set of control arms (thanks Bryan Downs!) and had the following pressed in: oodles of Superpro poly bushings, new OEM pillow *****, new OEM rear lower control arm bushings (the larger of the three in the arm), and new dust boots for the ball joints. I opted against polishing them, and plan to clean them up a lot more with some good ol' fashioned elbow grease
The actual labor was done by Alex and Brian over at Gotham Racing, big props to them for knocking the job out in no time

Looks nice, I only wonder how much money you put into your car...

u didnt mention why u opted not to polish but i assume it was because of cost...and not because u didnt want anything else shiney on ur car. A very easy way to get those babys lookin really good is to take a wire wheel or dremel tool with a wire brush head and one pass over the parts will make them look reaaaal good. I bought some used control arms and they had been sittin and looked ugly. about 15-20 mins working with the wire wheel got them looking like this

I figured you won't really see the control arms, so why spend the cash polishing them? I'm all about dumping assloads of cash into my FD, but even I have to draw the line somewhere
.
Bryant, you almost gave me a heart attack.....

rich, why dont you be a good friend and sell me those lower control arms?
did you get new ball joints on them? i noticed the new rubber boots. my front drivers side is popping and i'm thinking its the ball joint
also, how much were those rear lower control arm inner bushings? (the stock ones you replaced)

I'm pretty sure the only way you can get new ball joints is to purchase new control arms from mazda, and they're insanely expensive. The arms I purchased all have ~70k miles of use on them, my current 115k ball joints are fine so I hope to have no problems.
The bushings you asked about were not cheap, around 140 bucks from Ray for the pair of bushings and the pair of spacers.

Gotham pressed in all the bushings and pillow ***** on all 8 control arms for $300 labor, which I think is a steal given the amount of time it would have taken me to get the job done....even with a press and the right tools I've always found it very frustrating to undertake pressing bushings in and out, I'd rather be porting and building
