'99 turbos' wastegate size

Is the size of the wastegate on the '99 turbos sufficient to run a midpipe w/boost controller and not have to worry about boost creep, or should I port it before installing?

I don't think that information is readily available. The 99's do flow ~20% better. Try contacting a J-spec importer, they might know.

I run the RS/RZ turbos with a midpipe and use the PFC as my boost control. I have no boost creep issues. But I'm very careful in cold weather (<60F). Each car is different, so there really isn't a bulletproof answer. If you're that concerned with it, then just port it. But I'll warn you that porting may still not prevent boost creep from happening.

Thanks for the reply. I'll just have to be careful and take it easy with the boost control. I'm going to be using a Profec B Spec II.
