99 Spec Spoiler

I have the stock R1 spoiler installed at the moment, I just ordered an OEM 99 spec spoiler, will it be a direct fit to the stock R1 holes or will I have to drill different holes in order to mount the thing?

you will need paint work

Unfortunately you will need to drill some new holes and the center holes will be exposed from the original R-1 wing, they will need to be welded and the hatch will have to be repainted.

6 of the 8 r1 spoiler holes will be used by the 99 wing. The 99wing will require you to drill 2 more holes and it will leave 2 of the 8 R1 holes in clear view.
