99 Spec OEM Wing Template

Hey guys, so my current car does NOT have a wing or holes for a wing. I am looking for either a template for the 99 spec wing, or just the distances from the edges of the bottom outside holes. I’ve searched and there are a ton of threads about a template, but the common link to one which is split into 4 separate images, is not even close to lining up with any of the holes. Is there anyone out there with a template? Or anyone who may have their wing off and can give me a measurement for the bottom outside holes? Thanks for any help guys!

Lay the wing end on paper and outline it.
Cut out the shape.
Tape it to the wing end on the bottom.
Poke holes for the mount points.
Transfer to hatch

I ended up doing that with some posterboard, I guess I was more worried about placement front to back

It contours to the hatch. You really can't not put it where it goes. It won't sit flush if you put it anywhere other than where it goes.

i can definitely see what you mean by that, I found that out the more I messed with it. I guess my question is, how far towards the rear edge of the hatch should it go? I put a pic of the spot I’m talking about, I can’t find a clear enough pic online.

I vaguely remember seeing a youtuber install one on his car and he was able the punch holes out through the backside (inside of hatch)

The wing contours to the hatch. Set it on the hatch and where it lands is where its supposed to be. Line up the outer corners and mark it. That's all. You're giving this too much thought, it's not as complex as you think.

you’re not wrong 😅 it just fits the same whether it’s a half in forward or to the edge like pictured. And if I get wrong it’s going to drive me insane
