IMO, on our cars (esp lowered) the lips are pretty much a wear item like tires and brake pads. I would never spend that much on a lip that is going to get trashed, unless it's a show car that you don't drive on the street.

FD Rey hit it right on the spot. Dont spend that much money on a carbon fiber lip. Just buy a regular 99 spec lip and have it wrapped in carbon fiber. It'll look the same and cost a whole lot less. Like Goodfellas said, the lip is prone to getting hit or scraped alot, and after awhile, you'll just have a really expensive piece of carbon fiber that used to look like a lip.
i was just joking about it, just poking some fun at the idea of paying THAT much for a lip anything. I actually did order the lip new from malloy for 100 bucks and ray is an awesome guy. DEF recommend him to anyone lookign for parts
When RE-Amemiya and Mazdaspeed came out they were and still are pretty far up there. CONSIDERING the fact is the stock one is only $165.95 shipped I would say anything around $200 is great if its not just some overlay crap...
I don't know why you would pay that much for a lip, guess I'm in the wrong business. Personally, I don't see what's so great about carbon fiber, IMO I think it's ugly and most of the time it's wrapped around fiberglass so there's no real weight savings.
