Does anyone kno where i could buy a 99 and up wiring harness? Are the harnesses the same as 93-95? thanks

 

Be real careful about this. Despite the series-8 (99-02) looking similar to the series-6 (92-95). There are major differences in the wiring harness.

Comparing a 92 JDM harness to the 92 US spec harness has a few differences. (rhd vs lhd) Add 7 years & two updates (S6 to S8), plus a more complex 16 bit ECU and your going to be setting yourself up for quite a bit of work.

Converting the body harness to lhd format is hard enough. Although the engine harness will be a little closer.

Its hard enough here in Oz where we share the rhd format, plug changes, wiring changes all makes it unworthy.

The wiring harnesses are not the same. They will not work with a 93-95 ECU.

93-95 = 8bit ECU
96-99 = 16bit ECU
99-02 = 32bit ECU
