Constant threat
oh man......
This kit was the subject of a long running thread/argument regarding the merits/snob appeal/actual higher quality of GENUINE (read, extremely expensive) FEED or other high end body parts/kits. Sort of degenerated into a free-for-all at one point.....
I am just about ready to buy one of these just to see what the quality IS like!
'Cept Christmas shopping has cut into my stash of cash.....
I like that nose, I am just trying to find the '99 spec lights for it still.

Personally I like the front end and would put it on my car if there were no major problems with it.
Jason- I know you mentioned something about getting one and trying it, are you still going too?

Apparently this is not the Feed front end. The guy made a mistake. I don't think it takes 4 posts to let someone know this. Once is fine.
Also, is it possible to have a post about this front end w/o 75% of the thread being worthless ****?
Whether or not you like the front end is your own personal opinion. If you don't like it, quit being a post ***** and let the thread go.

Chill out... Geeesh... It seems like everyone is "edgy" lately. We were just informing him, I don't see anything wrong with someone telling him that it's not even a FEED replica, the god damn site says it's a FEED replica, but it is not. They have been producing those bumpers for probably about year now and they have just now marked it as a "FEED" bumper, probably as a marketing ploy to try to sell more of them. I would rather inform him that the bumper isn't even what they have it marked as, then to have him buy it and wonder why it looks nothing like any other FEED bumpers out there. And I don't see anything wrong with a couple people backing each other up, so that he knows that not any one person on the forum is B.S.ing him. If he still wants to buy it then good, I didn't say he couldn't. I am not going to poke fun if he does, we were just informing him that the site was wrong. Touring this wasn't a flame towards you, I am just trying to explain why 3 people replied to this post telling him it's not a FEED replica bumper. Sorry for my % of the B.S.

I did buy this bumper as a merry christmas cheap gift to myself. I also bought a sleek kit from vissports for 700. The bumper is being installed now at the body shop. I can tell you the quality was better than the knight sports front I had. Over all I would say it was worth 250. Actually now that I have seen it I think I would probably pay 600 for it. I think the company is going more for high quantitylow price, rather than charging high price and sending low quantity. This is just my 2Cents.
When I get my car back I will post pictures. My body shop said it will be sometime after New Years.

Thanks for the responses, particurlary to Chris "Manatecu" who has bought one and is having it fitted now, pictures to follow. He is the only one that actually answered the question I asked. Thanks.
To black99 and others, I appreciate your commentary, but I made no mistake, I know it is different.
mbautosport, for those who bothered to visit the site before mouthing off, advertise it as "Feed style", not replica. A replica, by definition, would be an identical copy, wouldn't it ? This is slightly different but maintains the "style".
I don't know what the final price of the Feed Replica Group Buy will be , but ONLY for $250 (the other point I was making) this "Feed style / 99 knock off front" seems like a good deal.
Regards
Mac

I just had one installed on mine, it turned out quite nicely. I'll be taking some pictures of it today or tomorrow and post them for you. The fit was quite good conpared to a lot of the more expensive and even original aftermarket body parts out there.
