'93 rx7 value ... help!
I am able to buy a '93 RX7 w/ automatic, silver, leather, tons of miles but in great shape in and out. Shiny original paint. Whats something like this worth? Thanks guys.

The car is waiting to get picked up @ $4,000 out the door including tax and registration...wasn't sure if i should do it.

Even if it has nothing rebuilt at 4k thats a great price if the "shell" (i.e. body and interior pieces [that really seem to not be so durable] are in good condition and expensive to replace) is solid.
The private party blue book value is much higher than the 4k so you really can't lose buying it at that price:

Go for it but be ready to have to spend 6-10k more to make it into a reliable car. Hopefully we can all say welcome to the club to you soon

Definitely find out how long its been since the last engine replacement, otherwise its gonna be 9k. Also compression test, boost, mods, etc...read the newbie forum, learn about the car. If $4000 is high for you to purchase, don't get it because chances are, you're gonna be spending a lot more. I'm kinda a newbie too!
