93 Factory Anti-theft System Diagram

Ok so I've searched through my workshop manual and wiring diagram manual and could not find a diagram on how the anti-theft system works.

Mine does all kinds of crazy things, and I'd like to try and pinpoint the problem(s). My car had a shitty radio install and turbo timer (now removed) when I bought it, so I think that may have something to do with it. Any suggestions would be a load of help to me.

Also does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram that shows how the factory alarm system is wired up. Right now, I'm lucky to even get the alarm to activate, and when the alarm light actually does comes on, I can usually just open the door with out the alarm even triggering.

Put these on CD!

At the top of the Threads in Forum: 3rd Generation Specific - Third one down from the top.

94 FSM's available for download

1994 Mazda RX7 Body Electrical Manual (18MB) - http://www.wrex-racing.com/html/fd/...tric_manual.zip

Info is in section J2

I'd recommend down loading all the available manuals you can get your hands on. Put them on CD with a back up. Some day these won't be available or really hard to find.

Example Wade Lanham's web site with the most PFS PMC info I had ever found, old school yes! But many were sold. You can't get support from Petter Farrell anymore. So I'm told, unless of course you are the org owner of the stuff. I tried the web site last week (Wade Lanham's web site ) and it's no longer up. The total number of good info sites has dropped alot over the last year or two. I guess thats the way it goes when a car is old and no longer in the lime light.

Just disable it. Factory alarm isn't going to save your car from anything. Easiest way is locate the sensor/plug that's part of the hood latch mechanism and unplug the connector. Jumper the two pins together and the alarm won't arm anymore (it will think your hood is always open).
