If you have a big brake kit, yes it works.

Otherwise it's not an upgrade.

Search some old threads in the Suspension and brakes section. There is a thread with opinions already

I'd submit that you may want to even consider it with stock brakes for added brake feel.

I have it with stock sized rotors, HPS pads and stainless lines. Big difference? No. Firmer feel and and earlier engagement? Yes. If funds allow, I hope to use it in conjuction with a BBK within the upcoming year.

If you've got the cash I'd go for it if you're already planning on replacing the stock MC. The modification required to set it up is so minimal that I don't know why anyone would replace the stock MC with another stock MC. I'm using stock sized rotors, HPS pads, and stainless lines just like DJF and I certainly noticed a difference. Though that could also be attributed to replacing a tired, old MC with a new one.
