My car turned 60K today
. I have been dreading this moment for months. I guess that I will now have to rebuild the engine, and get new turbos. Dang, just when I thought everything was working so well............
Can anyone recommend a good rotary psychiatrist???

The proper reaction should be like those people who have a near death experience. Every day is gravy time now. You have a new and enhanced appreciation for each drive. The sun shines brighter, the flowers smell sweeter, and your rotary is happily humming away.

But just because your car hit 60k doesn't mean you have to rebuild. If everything works, don't fix it. There is no use in pulling something apart unless you have too. Don't get me wrong, you can pull the motor apart and do watever you want. I just don't think it's economical. Besides, I had my orginal motor go to 101k without any problems.
Here is the dilemma, if you wait until the motor blows for the rebuild, the damage to the parts (housings) could be very costly. But if you do the rebuild befor it blows, you know all the parts are still good (if it is a first rebuild or possibly second). Which way is more economical, who knows, it's a crap shoot.
