5th gear slip + grinding in 2nd & 3rd?
Well for no reason today my transmission on my 93 started making a constant grinding noise in 2nd and 3rd. Also my car slips out of 5th gear every time. 1st and 4th gear seem to be fine. If i hold the shift lever in 5th it stays in gear. Also 5th doesn't make any constant noise. Just a grind sometimes when engaging it. My synchro only has around 10,000 miles on it by the way. Are all these gears related ? Is it the 5th gear synchro again?

Possibly alignment
Sounds like alignment of the tranny operating shaft. Don't know how but sounds like it is a little off (5th gear popping out but you can hold it in). Gears are not lining up correctly so possibly synchros but all of them at one time, did you upgrade or change out your shifter??

if it grinds going in its most likely the synchro.
if it pops out it needs a fork and hub set, its possible that theres a broken piece of synchro stuck in there

I haven't changed anything in over a year. (although every single day a V8 swap with 6 speed sounds like a good choice) I figured it might be the synchro but jesus what a piece **** to break again after 10,000 miles. How much is a typical synchro fix?

If it broke again after 10k miles I'd wager the WHOLE problem is whoever installed it. Just a guess.
The first thing I'd look at is the 5th gear detent ball and spring and see if it is damaged. This could solve your popping from gear problem. This can be checked without removing the transmission. See the manual or PM me for instructions. For the noise, I would suspect one of the bearings on the rear of the transmission shafts. In order to inspect those items you'd have to remove the transmission and partly disassemble it.
