5 warning lights came on and after driving for a wile the car die. Any ideas?

I started my car yesterday and 5 warning lights came on but won't go off. They are: 4W ABS, charge light, and the red dot light of the oil pressure, overheat exhaust and the coolant. The car was running fine but it just die wile driving. The car cranks but that's about it. It keeps the fans on when you put the key on the ignition. I already disconcert the battery to see if it will reset everything but no luck. Any ideas of what it is! My ECU is going bad or something or something else?
I have no clue.
Any help or ideas will be nice.

Check your alternator and battery. I am pretty sure it is the alternator.

+1 alternator. Your air pump should be going nuts and getting hot too.

The dash warning lights will come on if they are seeing less than 10-11 volts. It is the alternator as mentioned above.

I checked the alternator and is good. So no clue what it can be. May be the ECU?

How do you know its good? Did you remove it and take it to someplace that can run a test?

What about the battery? If you drove your car like this until the car died, then your battery is drained.

SOMETHING is wrong in your charging system to have had all the warning lights popup like that

What about the serpentine belt? did it break? does it have any tension on it?

I took the alternator out and took it to auto zone, the test was good. I test the battery with the multimeter and is good.

This EXACT same thing just happened to me this morning. Driving to work and about 2.5 miles away, my "4W ABS" light, "CHARGE BATTERY" light, coolant red dot light (no buzzing) and oil pressure red dot light came on. I turned right around and drove home. When pulling in my garage I noticed it was not idleing at the normal ~1000 RPM and instead was floating back and forth around 500-700 RPM.

I opened the hook and my serp belt was shredded. BillM's comments were accurate as I could hear my coolant "gurgling".

I hope I did not do any damage to it driving it the 2.5 miles home with no belt ????

Well I got a new belt and put it on (replaced the other belt as well) and now I have another annoying issue. The red "BRAKE" light on the right side of my dash comes on and goes off intermittantly (not the yellow ABS one on the left side, the one that just says "BRAKE" and is red on the right side). I am not sure if this is tied to the e-brake or what. I do know that when I fully engage my e-brake, the light doesnt come on. I have only driven my car a couple times but I cannot find a pattern as to what makes the light go on and what makes it go away.

Any thoughts? Are there any sensors or electrical connections in the area of the engine bay where I removed my air box and everything to replace my belts that I might have bumped or messed up?

Its a bad diode or two in the alt. or the wiring to the alt. IE the connector.

First check your brake fluid level.

Ok. I am having the same issue. 4w abs, add coolant red dot light, not showing that its hot, oil pressure light, oil pressure gauge needle is maxed out, and charge light. It's coming on speradically, cars running fine. It's actually been sitting in my work parking lot for 8 hours. I got off work, started it up. All the lights were off and then sitting in it for a few seconds those same lights came back on. Been sitting at an idle for now 10 minutes and they are still on. This isn't the first occasion this has happen. It died on my once as I was crimson down the interstate.

If you're having the same issue, the same suggestions are still valid. The system isn't seeing enough voltage. It's either the alternator, the wiring, the battery or belts.

I have ruled out the battery, and alternator. This morning, driving the car while it was raining I noticed this. Turn the windshield wipers on, all the warning lights go off, once the windshield wipers are back in their resting place, in the off position the lights come back on. These lights don't come back on once you turn the wipers off with the lever, just when they fall back into their resting place. Obviously there is a short somewhere. I'm just trying to figure out where to look. Later on, driving the car, the lights went off all together again, and haven't came back on. I'm sure it won't be long before they do.

Well I had the same issue and it turned out to be the internal fuel tank plug that went to the bulkhead. It wasn't making contact with the terminal, bent it back and all was good. Simple fix.
