How t mount the Spirit-R footrest?

Hey guys.

I've just bought a Spirit-R footrest, and had a hard time getting my hands down after i got it. BUT!

I just tried to line it up, to some mounting point against the firewall.
But i just couldn't find any?

Does anyone in here, have one mounted allready, and wants to take some photos of how it's mounted?

Or, is there anyone, who knows how to do it?

And yes, it is the OEM one for the RHD car

My own car is an ex-auto Touring-X type.

I have seen that picture, but thnaks.
But when compared to my own car, it looks like there's just too much space in the picture (under the glove box) and that what's confusing me.

i purchased mine a few months back and have had the same trouble finding mounting points, there just arnt any under there, which makes me think to just drill through the fire will or use self tappers.

how ever i have not gotten around to do so, as of now i just have my foot rest wedged in there under the glove box and honestly it doesnt move ever, even when there is no passenger and im driving fairly aggressive . so im almost debating about just to leave it the way it is unbolted.
