My friend at work has an auto Ram Air TRANS AM. I just wanted to tell everyone that we left work together. We both turned left and floored it at the same time. He spun out to the left of me, I spun out to the right of him...(Hold button on in first gear) at 8000 rpm I shifted into 2nd , he was a half car behind, At 80 into third he was 1 car behind!!! HA HA .... My slow, "Doggomatic " smoked a 325 hp TA!!!!!! UP t0 100 mph then, I smiled and let off!!! HA ha 5 speed conv? as if ? I dont need to spend $ 500 and get a 2500 rpm stall!!! I'm convinced that a 2500 rpm stall will smoke a 5 speed? Am I wrong?

 

how did you shift at 8k, when the rev limiter is 7500? either way good kill. i to think my auto is faster than most people give credit.

THANKS BRAD, The tach said 8k, I didnt here the warning buzz? Is it really 7500? That sucks I still won!!!

 

yea, its 7500. my buzzer comes on around 7000, which i cant hear anymore since i added the mp. if i hold my shift to long, it cuts out at 7500 everytime.

 

I wonder why mine swings to 8 k then, Must be the factory tach ?

 

i dont know, but i wouldnt complain. unless the tach is off.

 

MAN. I got to turn down the stereo to here the buzzer...... SORRY, I happen to like the song "Take Me A Way" by Four Strings" LOL

 

An auto FD is better than no FD at all.. still smokes at least 90% of the cars on the road.
