After doing a non-sequential turbo setup to my rx7, the car idles at 4k now. Did not port anything just removed all the hose like the diagram showed and removed the flapper that is suppose to be removed. Blocked off all the things needed to be blocked with the Bonzi kit. Do i just have to readjust the idle or is there something else wrong?

 

You must have a pretty decent sized vacuum leak somewhere...or bad gasket somewhere after the throttle body. Also check the throttle cable, cruise control cable (if you have cruise control...), throttle body mechanical adjustment screw, and the idle bleed screw.

 

I replaced the gaskets so i can eliminate that. I will check the all the above things.

 

Check to make sure you have all the bolts tight on the upper & lower intake manifolds. Even if your gaskets are good, one loose nut/bolt can create a vac leak that would raise your idle.

 

Hey for ***** and giggles check your TPS settings with a voltmeter if you want to cover all your bases.
