Why? 400rwhp isnt hard to make with a rotary, any upgraded turbo would put you there and it would be cheaper than going V8.

If you really know what your doing you could make WELL over 400rwhp for about $8500

T78 or T88 kit $3500 (they are about the same price)
mp and cb $700
fuel system - $600
IC and all piping - $1400
ECU - 1300
clutch - $500
tuning - $500

Honestly thats enough to make 500rw easy. And you have 500rwhp for $8500. One reason people spend so much more is they buy mods that they trash down the road when they go single. If you know thats what your going ot do from the beginning then its much cheaper to just go that route.

OR you can spend over $8000-$10,000 and drop in a LS1 making about 320rwhp. Can you get it up to 500rw...I'm sure you can but your going to run the tab even higher. Heads, cam, nitrous, tb porting, LSedit, headers, thats what another $4500 or so.

Honestly, that rotary setup listed above would be good for closer to 600rwhp, the only problem would be the drivetrain.

STEPHEN

it is more expensive to go with the v8 than to do the above mod lists...much more. ...unless you are doing it ghetto style.

I love it when people ask you a question 10 months after posting

bluedragon: That list will take a LOOOOONG time to happen...I'm actually STILL having problems with the new enigne due to some jackass shop down here in SD, soon I'll be up and running with 400rwhp soon as I get my single and weld up my custom IC/radiator combo! ooooh, I can't wait!
