was boosting 11-8-11, but mostly I went non-sequential because I my injector o-rings were leaking and it was just so much easier putting non-sequential back together than sequential.

no regrets.

but to me, best mod yet: PFC

You can have all the best go-fast parts in the whole world but unless you have the grip to put the power down and use your upgraded suspension and brakes, it doesn't matter. I've always considered tires to be the most important mod.

Yeah the water injection was one of the best mods I ever did too. But none of the things by themselves are the best. Water on a stock car is hardly helpful, a highly modified car without an ecu or fuel is going to blow up, having lots of fuel and water injection without the turbo/boost to push it is going to be weak.

My must haves are: Single turbo w/support, WI, PFC/datalogit, ignition upgrade, and now that I've been using a fast reacting IAT sensor I could never go back to the slow stock sensor.

There's a lot of other things that are required to make the car work, but then it would just be a mod list. My favorite still has to be the PFC/datalogit though without it the car just can't be fast being stuck at 10 psi. With a pfc, complete stock car, and $250 I could make the car about as fast as any other stock twins rx7.

I would crank the boost up to 20psi, run 2 fd fuel pumps rewired($50 mod), build a simple preturbo water/meth injection system ($130) the rest would go towards a better flowing intake and exhaust. Cut the stock one off if need be. Tune it. Might be crude but it would work, and be reliable.

As you can see everyone has their favorite. My Koyo rad. was awesome b/c now my temps are solid at 86. Before with the ac on, it would go past 98.

The PFC was great for the tune and power . And the commander is sweet.

The M2 intake works super.

The PFs intercooler was a nice addition.

But my favorite is the Racing Beat dual cb. Sounds so good going thru the gears.

Best mod for me was the GT35R. So god damned responsive in comparison to my old non-sequential system. Probably didn't help that my old turbos were on their way out.

Though not a mod, I want to add I have AC now. In Florida, yeah, it's a requirement almost.

My favorite mod so far is simplifying the engine compartment (removed ac,power steering, air pump, relocating fuse box, relocated ignigtion coils, and a whole bunch of other little stuff.
Also getting rid of the rats nest, all of this makes working on the car easier and makes the engine compartment alot cleaner.

My next best mod would be water injection.
