Just wanted to say hello. It has been a while since I posted in here. I see dgeesman has been made a moderator so I know you guys have been in good hands. I have been working in Columbia SC for over a year and have been commuting every weekend between there and my home in Knoxville. I hardly have time to drive the RX-7 anymore or even check out this forum other than to check PMs real quick. I take it out to autocrosses on occasion and hopefully I will get to this sunday. Here is a pic of me tearing it up:



My family and I are about to move to a house in Columbia in mid-May so hopefully I can devote some more time to the car. I need to do some minor maintentance and fix my damn gas gauge. Anyway just wanted to see if any of the old school guys like DamonB, Goodfella, etc. are still around.

If I were you, I'd be going to Columbia by way of Rt 128(?) - whatever it is that does Tail of the Dragon. Nice that you're checking in.

Yup, I am still around. Posting on vacation from Ireland right now and having a blast......have seen 4 skylines and a CYM FD out here already .

Good to see the pic of the FD on the track.....with my nonseq twins and deleted p/s I cant autox my R1 but plan to roadrace it extensively and drag race it occasionally this year.....

 

A good number of the gurus are still here. DamonB, Max Cooper, Howard Coleman, Crispy, etc etc

129 is a little out of the way. I have another secret road that I take on occasion. It is not quite as curvy, but the elevation changes more than make up for it.
