I'm 16...and im getting My FD next month or so..i'm very worried tho..about all the maintenece stuff and all.. Cuz this is my first car, but I think it will be a great experience..because i will learn how to handle and maintain a car far quicker than if i bought a more "regular" car. This car will shape me up into the automotive world.

I'm 17 1/2 some of you kids are spoiled!!!! no offense, I want to get an FD so bad, but i only got 5 grand saved so there is no way i can get an FD right now, my parents will give me a 99 Altima in fall, i'll get my driver license in May, and i'll find a job and will be working my butt off to earn for a FD, you can't feel any speed in a 99 altima especially a 4 cylender and there is no purpose to put performance parts on it cause it will be another rice car, i know a guy that is waiting for a 4th generation rx7 and if it comes out he said i get to make the first offer, it will probably come out in 2 years so i need to hurry. Funny I don't see any students driving a rx7 to school, they only drive rice cars, which are loud and think that a wing and some stickers will give them speed.

23, bought FD last month, used to own del sol--->mean person messed up my car (i bought that car bagging grocceries, weep, weep)--->insurance gives me about 6grand, find FD at used car lot, dealer asks 15,000 for it, i say 10,900, he says sold and tells me i've been the only person with good credit wanting the car, sadly enough the dealer got fired from his job after selling me the car.
this is my first post
props to this forum

Dragon- is your FD yellow with a black CF hood. Heavy arrow mods and a giant Arrofoil? I saw pictures on some site that said it was "Dragons FD" just curious?

P.S. the site said that the pictures were taken in Japan...

Yep that would be my car... it's currently getting stipped down to almost stock with a singe to4e so I can sell it...

Give me about a year and you'll see the next car I build... I'm collecting parts right now + stuff I took off the yellow car.. basicly I'm going to buy a stock FD and drop 20K in parts on it really quick.. should be fun..

lol.. I've been planning this for a while, right now I'm eating ramen and drinking water to save money for parts... almost every penny I make other than normal bills is going toward car parts on top of all the stuff I've already collected over the years... I'm going to build my dream. then I'm going to go whoop some *** in it...

I have posted in the poll but hasn't anyone else figured out that this poll does not really reflect the ages of FD drivers but rather the ages of the users of the internet AND of this forum???

matwey, I learned my way right into the drivers seat of my second 3g I have it down now @ an advanced age of 22! I'm not the kinda guy who has his parents buy his car for him either though so I know how to respect what I have earned? I think if daddy buys his 18 yo son a 3g they are both looking for problems....

Does this age thing mean I have to sell an FD or two to some 20 year old? Think I'll pull the cover off my MBM and see if it still hits 200 (MPH). If not maybe someone wants a 94 with 20K miles?

im 21 and i have had my 3g for . . . i dont know, but its been parked for a while due to mods coming really quick to it. ive never had so much fun messing with a car and wouldnt trade it for anything else. ive had 5 2nd gens and this is my 1st and hopefully last fd. ive had to stay away from the girlies though. . . they tend to get you side tracked on your modifying. haha. once i get it back on the road this time. . . im on the prowl. haha.
