Exclamation 3k redline {help me}

Ok so i purchased a 93 rx-7 with 20k on rebuild switched over to non-sequntial with intake,downpipe, and midpipe. The boost is up around 14 psi so im told, not so great but not horrible. Now after the first drive i was sold but i asked him to get a compression test and he had no problem with that. I call hem 2 days later he got the test done and all was fine but sometime after the test he had no boost. So he wants to wait to get the car checked but he thinks its a vacume leak.Since i planned on replacing the hoses i said just gimmie the car and ill do the hoses.Well 3 months later car still wont go past 3k i replaced 75% of the hoses all the solenoid rack hoses. I would love to get this car going so if anyone knows what whould make the car have a 3k rpm red line please let me know.

MAP sensor? Did you make sure it was connected?

Also, 14 psi needs more fuel. The stock ECU cuts fuel past 12 psi or so, leading to new engine!!

Secondary injector is stuck shut or not being opened (electrically). Check into that. Since they come on above ~3000rpm at about 25% throttle or more, it's reasonable to assume that if one didn't work you wouldn't be able to exceed 3k. This is the same as a 2gen with secondaries not working (at least one of the 2), except the switchover rpm is 3500-4000. ON the fd it seems to be 3000-3300.

i like the fast response and i was thinking along those lines as well , but there are a few other ideas as well. Funny thing is i just got my apexi power fc in the mail from SRmotorsports and poped it in, so don' worry spurvo im tryin my best to get this thing running properly.I even have a hyperground system ,turbo timer, boost controller and a diff brace waiting to go in.Also to RotoryRes ive got a fuel filter and fresh o2 sensor in the mail and im about to put in a 20b fuel pump so hopefully i can take care of all the fuel issues. Thanks agian for the response and keep'em cummin.;-)

a 20b fuel pump wont do crap unless you get larger injectors as well as a new fpr and tuning that powerfc for your mods. your probally gonna get borderline dangerous with the stock injectors at about 12psi... as far as the 3k rpm redline, did you try resetting the ecu? does it matter if your rolling on the gas or just going wot? what happens when you hit that redline? does it backfire or anything?

P.S. you still have 25% of the vaccum hoses to do, one which could be causing this problem.

SRmotorsports setup the map for my modifications.I was wondering about the injectors (now i know) as well and naturaly a fpr goes with fuel pump.As for reseting ecu yes i have (no change) and rolling or wot doesnt realy matter it just chugs and wont alow you to go past 3k like a rev limiter.I realise it could be in the last part of the hoses but ive never heard of them enducing a 3k rev limit.Also there is no back fireing or smoking.
