3k hesitation success story
Hey guys, I've only had my car for a month and I only drive it a couple of times a week( I work from home ). Over the past 2 weeks I notice that I had the 3k hesitation issue. I read everything on the problem on the fd3s.net site, though the "user posts" are rather old, it seemed that solving it was kind of hit or miss. Well I added a new ground using a 10 gauge wire and voila, problem solved.
I did a search on the forum and what I got was mostly about other hesitation issues. Has it been determined that the 3k issue is definately a electrical ground issue and that adding new grounds or using an aftermarket ECU eliminates the problem most of the people experiencing it?

The constant 3k trouble w/ lights on or anything related to electrical changes is ground related.
The 1st one can only be fixed with a PFC

I also noticed a difference after installing the twin power. The hesitation occurs less frequently, isnt as bad, and goes away quickly. Cold mornings after the car is warmed up is when it usually happens, but goes away after a few minutes of running the car. I believe that the switch over from closed loop produces a richer mixture.
