Is the intake porting just your typical street port?

is it just me, but i heard that you make more power from porting the exhaust rather than the intake? I'm not sure, but i was told that porting of one of them is mcuh more significant than the other.

Yeah we have both been cool in the past, you sold me an ecu, I tried to give you a tip of where to find a gas door. It's cool. I often PM people to tell them about something, even if we've had our differences.

I don't remember the Gordon incident that you're speaking of. However, you can be immature no matter if you're 65 or 25.. I seen no wrong in calling you immature because you're older than me. Which is only by like 2 or 3 years if I'm not mistaken.

I have always been pretty cool with you, 93 R1, and even Ryan. Hell I've admited several times that Ryan knows lots about FD's. Even when trying to set him straight for stuff he says that I don't think is right I always have given him respect by telling him he knows his stuff but he's saying immature things. And I'll admit I've used his site before and I have thanked him for his info.

It pisses me off though to see someone I thought was cool and an smart person making immature comments. At that point it doesn't matter if you are cool to me or not I will jump your case if you start making uneducated assanine remarks about other members. Especially at other respected members that only want to ask questions and receive answers.

Do I now hate you guys? No, not at all. All 3 of you guys are very smart. And again I respect that and you're cool with me. No harm done. But at the same time I'm not afraid to speak up and say when someone is just being a jackass about something by saying comments that have nothing to do with the topic of a thread. Like comments about someones age. Even if they're cool with me.

And I won't jump on the bandwagon and believe something just because I somewhat know someone, or even if they're a friend. I have questions and no matter if they're a friend or not I'd still want to know the answers.

In this lies the inherit problem, You assume that I jumped on somesort of band wagon because I know Ryan. Quite honestly I 've questioned Ryan more than you ever will. Or anyone one on this whole forum for that matter. I also see through most of his BS that you will never even recoginize. So your assumptions about my stance on this are ridicoulous. If you are 3 or 35 years younger than me it's still younger than me reguardless. So for you to call me immature is kinda silly . First off you 've never even met me and know nothing of my life so when you get off your allowance you can critisize me ..OK
You must PM with Gman alot I'm guessing because you have some sort of axe to grind here. I never claimed that you hated me or any Maryland residents but you are pretty quick to give me **** over a freggin screen name. A small point to make in my book. You must have some sort of issue with immaturity because you bring it up alot in your posts. Is that your thing?? BTW why did you claimed to be confused about my 2 screen names you obviously knew it was me right ????
Look man lay off me I've done you no harm and you have no reason to attack me. You are no role model on this forum to look up to so please stop acting so "holier than thou" It's getting old.

No reply is required on your part. be a big boy and let it be if your so mature.

If im being to obtuse for you forgive me I'm three sheets to the wind and 4 long islands past that. I'm rambling now so I'm leaving it at that....

You obviously don't understand what I said. You don't have to be young to be immature. Being immature(or even mature for that matter) is based on your mentality and your actions. Any smart person would agree with that. I've met very mature 19 y/o's and very immature 30 y/o's..

First off you 've never even met me and know nothing of my life so when you get off your allowance you can critisize me ..OK
You've never met me before either, so why would you think I was on allowance? I would hope not, I'm 23 for christ sakes.

Nope, I just don't play well with other kids.

Is that your thing?? BTW why did you claimed to be confused about my 2 screen names you obviously knew it was me right ????
Nope, don't you see it? "Immature, non-sense jargon talking, band wagon jumping, flaming me because I questioned you or your friend forum members" is my "thing".

Secondly, I knew it was you from when you joined under that name(Dr. Strange) when you got banned for a week and were acting like it was some big secret that no one knew who you were.. But I didn't understand the need to congratulate him under 2 different screen names in the same thread. Both posts basically saying the same thing. No harm done though I guess I just didn't understand why you didn't see/remember the other post you wrote while logged on under the other screen name 15 minutes before.

Look man lay off me I've done you no harm and you have no reason to attack me.
I didn't "attack" you, I never did. Did I have a bunch of commando's storm your house and take over your fort? I merely questioned your actions and you got your panties in a bunch. But that "You don't even own a rx7 anymore do you??" really proved my "immature" theory right as you had enough gall to say that when it had nothing to do with the thread at all.. I was actually trying to be nice.

BTW, I don't think it's immature to try and set things straight(hell jimlab does it all the time ) although it's getting old already.

AH HA!!!!

OK, so I WAS right. It was intake porting. Very clever Rikki!

I think PFS deserves credit for an overlooked mod -
(even though it is basic stuff) I am sure it takes some artistry to do this though, and that's what you pay for in good porting.

OK, now everyone can go spend their hard earned money with PFS! And....quit slammin' this guy - jeeesh.

Black99 I knew you couldn't resist. You're so lame.
Nice sectioned comeback but It proves my point ..your just looking for an argument.
I'm happy that you feel old at 23 .
Do you still live at home?
I am just curious.
You still misunderstood most of my post.
Your saying that you can guage somebodys maturity level based on some typed words. Not knowing anything of said person in reality...
I stand by my original statement ..that is silly.Anybody
with half a brain would recognize this. I 'm surprised that your assuming to know anything about me because what I pick and choose to write.
Ofcoarse I don't know you. The comment about your allowance was an insult. Pretty obvious I thought, don't see how you mistook it for anything but.
If your attempt at witty comebacks make you feel better than knock yourself out.

But you still tried to question my second screen name for no good reason. I explained that I couldn't remember the password right away. Sorry that wasn't good enough for you.

Now go write me a novel.

Pay for transportation...gas money to and from the dyno? Sure I'll pop for that. As for the A/F ratios, on pump gas would be good info to have along with actual boost pressure made and corrected rwhp made.

My question about the nonsequential set up was the fact that the dyno graph still shows an ocillation at 4500 rpms like it does with sequential set up. If your truly non seq, not just wired open, it shouldn't have that dip and rise effect at 4500. All the other non seq dyno graphs, that I've seen and or saw posted, didn't have it. Just curious as to why its there. It could be a leaner mixture through there and "spiked" the HP up a little or something to that effect since its in between data points and Peter used to add fuel in the surrounding data points in the PMC to try and get rid of the 3K buck. With the wide spread between points, you have a wider margin of error of thing you can't control as well than something with a finer resolution.
Thoughts or ideas as to the dips at the normal transition points.

Get the dyno to print correct sae rwhp and then standard rwhp and see what the difference is and also what the correction factor is for the run.

With the slope up to that point, I interpreted that spike as where the boost was oveshoot where 11 psi was 1st regulated.

HAHAHA! It's kind of like a soap opera!!

What mod will the Rikkster do next?

Who will he antagonize now?

And will we EVER get over the blatant advertising?
(Hey, it's free, damnit!)

Tune in next week for the rest of the story!

(AND BTW, what did I win for guessing correctly it was intake porting. I want my prize, NOW!)

THE END OF THE THREAD IS NEAR...........

Could have somthing to do with that 8 x 8 for a whopping total of 64 blocks of tunning information the purple box uses, I'm sure it's spread out pretty good..

Quick question... you wouldn't be running STOCK 99+ J-spec turbos on there would you? They are slightly smaller yet flow more air and produce more flow at the range your boosting..

Cool F&F Baby

Since nobody has been able to explain how Dont_Be_A_Rikki is getting his extra few ponies I did some research and after about 5 min of exploring his engine compartmen with MGI Photosweet I found the secret sauce making those extra few ponies... If you study the top right corner of the engine compartment you will see what I mean...
