3000 rpm studder with pfc?

i have a apexi pfc. when i decide to drive my car i let it warm up to about 85degrees C. and i dont have the studder, however if i shut it off for 15 or 20 minutes and get back in it is still warm but i get the worst studder problem untill i shut it off and let it idle for a while. can any one explain this or at least let me know if anybody else has this?

I have the pfc and have no signs of 3000k rpm problem. When i plugged my stock ecu in for emissions, it happened really bad. It sucks doesn't it?

I think the 3000 RPM thing is a myth, never had it.

I had the 3000rpm stumble and it totally went away after installing the PFC. But I can't tell if that's the same symptoms that you're talking about.

So did you buy the PFC new or is there a possibility it's been changed using the datalogit? Have you checked other possibilities like fouled plugs, bad wires, or even failing coolant seals? Guess you could always try resetting the PFC, too.

the pfc is new and un altered. I am getting ready to change plugs and wires, you think they could cause this?

you need to get it tuned. We had a stumble on my brothers and when it got tuned the tuner found the overlap of the secondary injectors too soon and fixed it to have no stumble whatsoever

I get the studder when cold ,mostly in 2nd and 3 rd gear at 3000 rpms until it warms up, then it's fine, no studder. I haven't figured it out either ! I don't have PFC though.

I get a studder about 3500 rpms but when i drive for a little bit and warm it up all the way it's fine. I drive my car after i warm it up till about 85 on my pfc. The car really isn't warmed up all the way till about 94 or so. After it reaches full warm up it is fine, even if i shut it off for 15/20 min.
