3 way solenoid?

This one has me a bit confused, according to the FSM, the vacuum lines to the 3-way solenoid cross as they connect to the vacuum tree, but I'm pretty sure mine weren't installed that way (in fact, I went through a bunch of rats nest pics on the forum, and don't see any that cross). In addition, watching the Turrentine video, I see that his don't cross when he's taking the engine apart... does this look like a problem with the FSM???

Look at the vacuum routing diagram in the FSM (or better yet, the colored version that can be found online). They are not crossed there.

The important thing is that the bottom hose (right in picture) goes to the vacuum chamber and the middle hose to the turbo control actuator.
The middle hose can be electronically controlled to connect with either the atmosphere or the bottom hose (=vacuum). (Easy to verify)

Unfortunately the FSM isn't glitch free

You have it installed right, that's how my car is and pretty much every FD I've ever seen was like that. Sequentials worked perfectly.

Thanks guys, figured it might be an error in the fsm, I followed back the vacuum lines, and they're connected as in the colored vacuum diagram.
