2nd and 4th grinding?

3rd & 5th never an issue. Happens half the time, usually during a quick shift & high RPMs. Grinds really bad when it does though. If I hold the shifter at the gate it will eventually slide in w/o issue. I believe I had Redline MTL in it before, switched to Neo 75w90. Clutch setup: Lightweight Flywheel, 6 puck sprung, ACT HD pressure plate.

Might switch back to Redline? Maybe regular trans fluid? Thought about getting a short shifter, but somehow I think that will make it worse.

Might be insignificant, but there is some seepage around my clutch line. Going to replace it with a braided line & report back

Flaky clutch hydraulics will do all sorts of weirdness. I would think about replacing the master and slave cylinder as well. They're not too pricey and usually when one component wears out they are all on the verge of wearing out.

This makes sense, you may be losing hydraulic pressure which will make the clutch not fully disengage when shifting.

Thanks Dale, it does make sense, hopefully redoing the hydraulics gets things straightened out

Thoughts on a 929 master?

The 929 master is only for the brakes, not the clutch. Clutch hydraulics are FD-specific.
