2jz gte engine in a fd???

the toyota supra engine in a fd is it possible?? if so can i have ur 2 cents ?? wondering if its possible and how to be installed

Have they ran that FD with the 2JZ at the track ever, you know the yellow one were the hood wouldn't fit? I don't wanna here how it's a show car!!!

They run the Supra 7 at the track all the time. It was in the import magazines a while ago, running quarters at an event with 862 hp. It is pretty much made only for the strip, as it has no sway bars fitted in the car. The reason for the 2JZ was to put a high horsepower engine in a light weight car. Most cars with that much horsepower weigh much more than FD's. I believe SP Engineering built that car too, so check out their website for more information on it. www.spengineering.com

can we stop with the "can we put this into the rx7, how about this". the car was made with a rotary leave it this way. maybe next we can get rid of the ZO6 motor in the corvette and go with a jet turbine

Because it was abonimation. It was a disgrace to post anything related to that car, thus all traces of it have vanished...the Supra7 is no more...

Yes, its possible. In fact, its really easy.

Just turn the FD upside down and shake until the 13B-REW drops out. Then plop in the 2JZ. Its that simple.

It's been done, and is called the Supra7. Almost any engine swap is possible, assuming it can fit in the car.
