2G Swap or 3G?

Ok I have an '86 RX-7 GXL and it's just too slow. So I was thinking of doing a TII engine swap (don't tell me not to, if I could find a TII I'd have bought it instead of the GXL), but I was thinking, the 3G's are really pretty, why not get one of those? What are the real differences as far as performance goes? I know the 3G's are pretty and an FC would never be as beautiful, but it'd also be cheaper..so what do you guys think?

I don't know much about 2nd or 1st gens but I had read somewhere that they are a joke compared to the 3d gen. That those cars were okay and everything but when mazda put out the 3d gen they were really saying something. I think the main thing is power difference but those turbo 2s can be really fast too. I'd guess the handling was way better too because of the weight distribution being so close. As far as looks the 3d gens definetaly blow the other gens out of water and almost any other car imo. I think why nobody replied is because it sounds like you have solved your own problem. Get a 3d gen. I don't think you will be dissapointed
