How many 93-95 FDs left in US?
Would there be replacement parts for our car?

Last question: would there be gasoline powered vehicle?

Yes to all.

Look at today, they have places dedicated for parts, sometimes even oem exact replacements for those old 1940, 50, 60 cars.

I believe if there is a demand or if people are still buying them, then it will always be offered. 2018 is only 10 years away, its seems far but it will come in no time. And yes gas powered cars will still be around. They will be around til our generation is done. Perhaps even a bit longer after that.

They would have to stop gas powered cars NOW, in order to get rid of them and flood the world with the next power source. And even if that happened today, we wont see the extinction of gas cars for about another 40, 50 years.

We're good man, keep modding away We have til we die lol

We may have died from the ice caps being melted away by then lol! That could cause most of the world to get ill or die from natural disasters also. That would be ridiculously insane if that comet hit Earth!

In practical terms, this means that if 2000 was the year of Peak Oil, worldwide oil production in the year 2020 will be the same as it was in 1980. However, the world's population in 2020 will be both much larger (appoximately twice as big) and much more industrialized than it was in 1980. Consequently, worldwide demand for oil will outpace the worldwide production of oil by a significant margin.
Your right, there will be enough oil until 2040, but would you be able to afford it. Fuel will be probably extremely costly by this time, i doubt it would be worth having a gasoline powered FD. I pay $2US a litre at the moment here in Japan!

It would probably be possible to convert old gasoline cars to a new energy source.

LOL All those 2012 things have corny music. I am not worried about it. However, 4179 Toutatis will pass earth in 2008 and again in 2012. Its orbit could get skewed somewhere along the way...
