2.0 drop
I apologize for this before I even start. I did try to search but the verification code on the search function won't work on my computer for some reason. I'm just looking for a quick picture or two of an fd on 18inch wheels with a 2 inch drop front and back. thanks.

anyone? I'm trying to firgure out if 2 inches of drop is to much for a street car. obviously ride height will be higher than stock with 18inch wheels, so i think it might not be too bad going down 2, but I don't know, witch is why I'm asking.

Thats going to be pretty agressive for 18" wheels. Something with an adjustable ride height is probably best for you. Check out some coilover shocks. Its mostly going to depend on your tire profile, width, the offset of your wheels, and your suspension setup(extra depth) as to wether or not the combination will fit. Large wheels are great when you need a large braking system(a real race car), but for street applications the stock wheels are light(16lbs) and becoming on the fd.

Therefore, as just an example, these aren't real numbers:
Say the overall diameter of the stock rim + tire is 20". The stock rim is 16" so you have 4" of tire sidewall. Now you upgrade to 18" wheels. To keep the overall same diameter, your sidewall is now 2". Therefore, rim size really has no bearing on car height or wheel gap unless you change the overall diameter by using inappropriate tire sizes (which has other consequences).
