surf rack?

well since i already have my roof rack set up, and the summer is here and i already put my snowboarding gear away.... i was thinking of getting a surf rack attachment for my rack system...

since i have no other car/ truck to carry my surfboard, should i get a surf rack?? haha

im sure i would turn a GRIP of heads on the fwy but not for looks but to actually bring my board to the beach haha

to rack or not to rack? that is the question

I don't know why you're asking, you're already in the ballpark - might as well play ball!

Turn that surf board around and you will be stylin! Fins to the front, with your nose up there you are applying alot of down pressure on it and will develop stress cracks like crazy.

Every surfshop in the area will have a repair guy, either in house or one that they sub out to. In my opinion, go out and get some resin and cloth and have at it yourself. Fixin boards is fairly easy and alot cheaper to do yourself. Then you have some extra materials for any car mods/repairs you wanna do.

There are a ton of videos and walk throughs on the net about board repair.

Have you checked craigslist? Boards are cheap right now, a lot of broke surfers out there right now. Not sure what you ride now, but expect to pay about 30 bucks per ding/patch.

I know we are getting off topic, but how long you been surfing?
