1993 Rx-7

ok looking into buying a 93 rx7 twin turbo but has auto tranny, motor tranny and turbos where rebuilt 2000 miles ago i can get it at what i think is a good price under 7grand but is it worth haveing whit the auto tranny? any feedback

I honestly don't think worth having an FD with an auto....if you really like the car, buy it, there is always the option of tansferring it to manual.

Depends on what you are looking for in a car, do you want to autocross/race?if so go with a 5 speed...I just converted mine to a 5 speed from an auto. The auto was fun driving around town, but I like the M/T .

well love the look but speed is as improtant, so wanted feed back the off the line lag worried me a bit what is the avg cost on the swap

I wouldn't let the auto put you off. Drive the car. If you like it, and it seems solid, then get it. It's still a great handling, good looking, and quick car, probably different from anything you've driven.

Dont you have to swap the rear iron on the motor to install a 5speed? I would hold out for a manual and just go that way. Still nice car for a decent price.

Nope, you can use an auto rear iron on a manual tranny. But not a manual rear iron on an auto tranny.
