1993 rear speaker size?

Hey I know the book say's 5X7 speaker for stock, But i want to change and go with a bigger speaker like 6X8 or 6X9 can fit any of these back there? I need to know because I have buy the speaker first to installed it.thanks

I put some Pioneer 6x8s in the back on my car. But I don't think they get any treble from the stock radio setup. You might want to change the head unit later, but for the stock setup, the high frequencies don't matter.

5 X 8 is stock. I just did some. Funny thing is that a lot of 5 X 8 speakers, like Pioneer, say, "for Ford and Mazda" stamped into the frame.
