1993 R1 AC confusion
I have two questions that may be simple.
1) Does a 1993 R1 use R-134 or r-12 refridgerant?
2) I have located the fill lines. But which of the two nozzeles is the high pressure, and which is the low pressure?
Thanks, and yes I have searched.

The fittings will look different, a bit bigger if it has been converted. Legally, the person or shop that did the conversion is required to attach a decal stating this.
I will go take a couple of picture of a converted system and an R-12 system.

notice the aluminum fitting just under the blue plastic cap. THIS is the conversion piece that screws on to the stock R-12 fitting. That smaller fitting under this is the stock R-23 fitting, so you can see the big difference in size.
