1993 CYM Effini emblem question

I just got a 1993 RX7-R1 Competition Yellow Mica. It has a red Efini emblem on the front and had one on the back, but the rear one fell off.

I wanted to replace the emblems with Efini badges. I don't really like the red color and it seems my only choices are red, black, white or silver.

What I really want is an Efini emblem that doesn't have any colored part in the middle (the same as how the Mazda M logo is, just the silver border). I've searched and searched and can't seem to find one like this.

So my questions are:

1. Do Efini emblems for the RX-7 exist that are just the outline with no fill color? If so where might I get them from?

and

2. Did Japan Efini make CYM RX-7's? If they did, what color where the emblems on those cars?

Thanks.

Check RHD Japan, they should have authentic emblems without the backing.

Yeah I checked there, all I see is red, white, black and silver. Now based on the picture for the silver it's hard to tell if it has a backing or not. Though they do show an image with the back side of the emblem and it has a backing. Here is the link.

Thanks for any guidance on this question.

All the ones I've seen have the backing part.

They may not have made any yellow ones, given the low volume. You may have to buy a white or silver one, and paint the background.

Get the ones for an MS-6 or Cronos, those do not have backs to them.

I have a pair of the ones with no backing, bought on eBay. They are oem Mazda parts, but they have locator pins sticking out of the back, and the pins did not line up with the holes on my udsm bumper. I just snapped off the pins and centered it to cover the tiny holes. I haven't installed the front yet.
